The classroom was equipped with a SMARTboard and all software that is used with that. The teacher had a personal computer and also a laptop that was connected to the smartboard. The classroom did not have a SMART table, however I did notice one in the school in the gym area. There were no iPads for the classroom, but all 4th and 5th grade classrooms had a set of laptops to share when needed. The classroom was also equipped with a document camera, which we used during our teaching lessons. b. Which technologies were used during field experience? How were they used? For each lesson taught, we incorporated either the SMARTboard or the document camera for students to reference things like definitions or do interactive games and reviews. The mentor teacher used the document camera for a good number of lessons, and she used the SMARTboard once or twice. For the school, the principal used a document camera and projector to show photos of students and students work on a drop down screen in the gym. The school also incorporated sound equipment and lighting for a production they put on for the students.
